Please join us for a special musical performance by Dan Martin and the Noma Rocksteady Band, Tony Gibson & Dawn Angelosante, and special guests. The concert will take place at the Westerbeke Ranch on Dec 29th from 4pm – 7pm. Space is limited to 40 people. Please purchase your ticket soon.
All proceeds go to Anjali School in India, a project created by Sonoma Ashram Foundation. Anjali School offers high quality primary education at little to no cost to more than 170 underserved children who otherwise would not have access.
About the Band
Dan Martin and the Noma Rocksteady Band are based in the North SF Bay Area, bringing Rocksteady, Reggae and Ska sounds inspired by Jamaican music of the 1960’s and early 70’s.
Voted best Reggae band in the North Bay in 2020 by readers of the North Bay Bohemian and sure to delight listeners of all ages.
Northern California native Dan Martin has been writing songs and performing in bands since he was 17 years old. In 2009, Dan began performing as a solo artist creating a local buzz through songs with lyrical honesty and an upbeat, danceable feel inspired by Jamaican music of the 1960’s.
Performing at venues throughout Northern California, Dan and The Noma Rocksteady Band have shared bills with such acts as; The Melodians, Pato Banton, Israel Vibrations, and Burnt. Dan Martin and the Noma Rocksteady Band continue to lighten the spirit and shake the dance floor with old-school reggae rhythms, while maintaining a unique contemporary sound.
